January's National Awareness

Did you know that many groups and organizations have designated certain months "Awarenss" months for their cause? For instance, the American Red Cross has designated Janaury as National Blood Donor Month. Do you know the 4 major blood types?

There is also another factor to naming a blood type. It is called the "rh" factor. A person is either rh+ (rh positive) or rh- (rh negative). So...

type A is either A+ ("A" positive) or A- ("A" negative)

type B is either B+ or B-

type AB is either AB+ or AB-

type O is either o+ or O-
