Welcome to 2025.

A few months ago I decided the time had come to redesign my books. Thus the idea of coloring books was born.

The end of August I had three books converted to coloring books. The three books were: Gluten Free If You Please (a coloring book about Celiac Disease), Good Vision is the Mission (a coloring book about far and nearsightedness), and Teeth, Teeth You Are so Neat ( a coloring book about teeth and dental care).

I started distribution of the coloring books in the northeastern states late summer and early fall. If you come across one of the books please feel free to email (klstorytime@gmail.com). Tell us what you think!

The books are currently being distributed in another area of the U.S. Please email if you discover one in your area!!

So here I am, the beginning of 2025. The vaccine book, The Vaccine Scene is now completed. The redesign of the head lice coloring book, Lice in School is not Cool, is in progress.

Also, the illustrations are fairly simple by design. No elaborate illustrations to color. The main focus on these books is the written content. One of my goal with the coloring books is to transition a child from "learning to read" to "reading to learn."

I would like to also mention that January is National Blood Donor Awareness Month #NationalBloodDonorMonth and #GiveBlood

Did you know that type O+ blood is considered the universal donor. That is, people with any + (positive) blood type (A+, B+, AB+ and O+) can use Type O+ blood. Less then 10% of people in the U.S. are type O+.
