Patient Safety Awareness Week March 8-14 2015

This is the second week of March. So this is Patient Safety Awareness Week. The theme this year is "United in Safety".

The focus of Patient Safety Awareness is really encouraging patient engagement. Patients and their healthcare team need to be communicating with each other; but not only the patient but the patient's family as well. Communication is critical to enhancing patient safety.
