Did you know that clothing is the single most effective form of UV light protection. They can absorb or block a lot of UV light.
Almost 5 million skin cancers are diagnosed in the US yearly. The majority are caused by solar UV radiaition.
UVA and UVB rays from the sun causes almost 90% of visible changes seen with aging skin.
Your first line of defense…..clothing
Hats
Hats with at least a 3' brim is best.
Fabric
synthetic and semi synthetic fabrics offer the greatest protection.
Sunglasses-wear glasses that cover the eyes and as much of the surrounding eye as possible. Plus verify that the glasses you buy block at least 99% of all UV rays.
