As you can tell I took last week of from blogging!

This week I want to update you on a few things going on with the books I am writing.

I currently offer these books online only. I have printed a few beta versions of each book. The most cost effective place I found to print the books thus far is still pretty pricey (the price for me includes the price to print, shipping and handling). Then of course, shipping them to you.

I recently heard about a program that HP (Hewlett Packard) is trying, HP Instant Ink Service. I have entered to "win" a printer. So if you see a few tweets about HP printers now you know why.

One of my goals is to keep cost low so I can sell print copies of my books to you at a relatively low price. Of course my primary goal is to give you a conceptual idea about healthcare topics. That is why I currently offer free online versions of my four books.

My original plan was to write new books that cover additional topics. However, a few people have suggested that my stories use real terminology. For instance, instead of having balloons pick up green pellets just use the terms insulin and glucose. Hmmmm, my idea is to give a conceptual idea of what is happening instead of introducing new words to kids. However, I may try this and see what I can create.

The books I write are created so the parent and child can talk about healthcare issues. Personal healthcare concerns should always be addressed to your own personal healthcare providers. Only your healthcare provider has all your health care information and can address your concerns on a personal level.
