Distracted Driving

Many people assume hands-free talking equates to risk-free driving. This is not the case. Distractions are a huge factor in fatal car crashes. The National Safety Council states that at any moment 7% of drivers are using cell phones.

Although the brain is capable of switching between tasks simultaneously performing two task is tricky. It is estimated that the area of the brain processing moving images decreases by 33% when listening or talking on a phone.

Distracted driving has received much needed attention. There are also serious driving issues that can result in deadly crashed too. These are:

Drunk driving

Drowsy driving

Drugged driving
