Summer topics

I did not intend to stop writing this blog in June. Unfortunately, family situations demanded my time. I write this blog mainly to help you stay aware of diseases/illnesses that sometimes rarely get attention. Of course cancer, heart disease, flu season, vaccinations, etc. do get a lot of press time. However some disorders do not and we rarely think of a disorder until we or someone we know are diagnosed.

I may not create a book for some disorders and I just want to bring attention to some of those topics.

For instance, July was Juvenile Arthritis month.

July 28 was World Hepatitis Day.

August we had Children's Eye Health and Safety, National Immunization Awareness and Psoriasis Awareness. The end of August was Contact Lens Health Week. Contact lenses is a topic that I do intend to write about this year.

That brings us to September. September is full of "awareness's
