Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

About 1 in 6 children are obese. Obese children have an increased risk of chronic health issues such as asthma, sleep apnea and type 2 diabetes. Please visit:

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month https://www.acco.org/childhood-cancer-awareness-month/

Every year in the U.S. about 15,000 people/children (aged 21 y.o. and younger) are diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately about 25% will not survive. The goal of this awareness month is to spotlight the types of cancer that mainly affect children, survivorship issues and to help raise funds for research.
