National Immunization Awareness Month!!!! #Ivax2Protect #VaccinesWork

As you know immunization (or vaccination) is a topic that I highlight whenever I can. I do believe that immunizations can help prevent diseases to a very large group of people. Based on current information immunizations are better than no immunizations.

August is National (United States) Immunization Month.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has a web page dedicated to immunizations. You will find it at https://www.aap.org/en-us/advocacy-and-policy/aap-health-initiatives/immunizations/Pages/National-Immunization-Awareness-Month.aspx

Another great website is from the CDC (Center of Disease Control) https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/events/niam/index.html

For a current immunization schedule for children please go to https://www.aap.org/en-us/advocacy-and-policy/aap-health-initiatives/immunizations/Pages/Immunization-Schedule.aspx

Or https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/hcp/imz/child-adolescent.html

Take care.

Karen
