Children’s Dental Health Month
February is Children’s Dental Health Month
This awareness is to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their care givers, teachers and others who are in a child’s life.
This year’s theme is:
Fluoride in water prevents cavities! Get it from the tap!

National Children’s Dental Health Month began in 1941. There was a one-day event in Cleveland and a weeklong event in Akron, OH. This then evolved into a National one-week observance in 1955. Finally, in 1981 the program became a month-long observance which is now called the National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCDHM).
As you may know, I have written a rhyming children’s book on teeth. You can go to Smashwords.com to view the book. It is called, “Teeth, Teeth You Are so Neat”. I hope you enjoy the book.
Go to the “Just for Kids” tab to find a few activity pages for children.
Happy brushing and flossing!
Karen
