July 2020
Over the years I’ve had several pets. A few days before most of the country shut down this past March I put my last pet down. The decision was gut wrenching but the most humane option.
My house was pet-free for the first time in 25 years. As the months rolled by the house seemed too quiet. So we adopted a 3 year old cat and a rescued puppy this month.
The puppy reminded me of a group that I follow on twitter. The CSU Flint Animal Cancer Center @CSUOneCure. Their website gives you a great idea about what they do! If you get a chance, check their site.
Cancer doesn’t take a break even during Covid-19. So, remember the people who are still battling life altering diseases during this covid period. That person maybe you, your neighbor, coworker or family member.
There are many chronic diseases people battle. One that is highlighted annually in July is
Juvenile Arthritis. July is Juvenile Arthritis Month. To learn more about JA please visit their website:

Until next month…..
