Hello January and February!

(updated May 2022)

I apologize for the lack of blog posts recently. I have been rewriting the intro to several of my books. I am a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators). I have been to various webinars honing my craft.

Hopefully I will soon be writing blogs more often.

January is national Blood Donor Month

The Red Cross website is a great resource for information on blood donation. Donating blood is so important if you can especially as we navigate through the Covid 19 pandemic.

February 2022

We observe February as:

American Heart Month

https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/education/american-heart-month

National Children’s Dental Health Month

National Cancer prevention Month

Days to Observe Are:

World Cancer Day Feb 4

Give Kids a Smile Day Feb 5 (GKAS)

This program started in 2002. It provides children with free oral health care.
